Now this is a complete nostalgia piece for me. From wooden orange crates bought home by my grocer manager father i was encouraged (at 6 years old) to construct wooden seed trays for his gardening addiction. So did this 'woody' life of mine start here ? Of course these are of much superior quality and design, the bottom slats are spaced for drainage, and i think the real improvement are the copper straps which with the galvanised staples stitch the wooden slats together. The 'slug proofness' is a purely unscientically claim but based on the copper 'slug deterrrent' tapes available which give the poor creatures a static electric shock
